Since 1919, Junior Achievement has helped young people recognize how their talent and abilities can create better lives for themselves and those around them. JA's sequential and integrated kindergarten through grade 12 programs help young people use information, apply basic skills, think critically, and solve complex problems.

JA brings volunteers from the community face to face with students for the simplest of human interaction-sharing. Classroom volunteers make economic concepts relevant, fuel the entrepreneurial spirit, and challenge the students to excel.

JA's unique delivery system provides the training, materials, and support necessary to ensure a positive experience.

JA can help teachers achieve their goals in the classroom of preparing students to surpass educational requirements and succeed once they have finished school. In essence - JA reinforces what teachers do every day. For corrleations to Washington Standards, click one of the following.

Requesting your classes for next year can help us anticipate the demand for volunteers and allow time for Junior Achievement to prepare a volunteer to work with your class.

"JA Day" is a one-day presentation of Junior Achievement's programs. "JA Day" is a unique opportunity for JA to reach children a whole school at
a time.

Did you know that for a commitment of just a few hours, your students can get an up-close look at careers and see the relevance of what is being taught in school? .
